Lönnrot´s fifth trip was significant concerning the contents of the Kalevala, as it was on this trip that he met Viena´s greatest poem-singer Arhippa Perttunen in Latvajärvi. Arhippa´s contribution to the contents of the epic was greater than any other singer.
